Siobhan Komander
Managing Director

Siobhan has over a decade of experience in the events management industry working on both agency and client side. In her previous roles Siobhan has created, managed and produced literally hundreds of events, from the very small to the extra large including; national sales conferences, exhibitions, sponsorship leveraging, trade shows, product launches and corporate hospitality. Siobhan has also been instrumental in developing and implementing strategic event marketing plans for blue chip companies such as the Sony Group.

 

Therese Cuthbert
Event Producer

Therese joins us bringing a varied experience to the Xphyr table with over a decade in the hospitality and events industries. Building on a strong operational background in some of Sydney’s finest restaurants, her events career has seen her manage events ranging from intimate gatherings through to large scale dinners, cocktail parties and festivals. Therese’s exposure to hotels, catering companies and venue management, along with her obsession for the detail will ensure that no stone is left unturned in the production of your event and her infectious laughter will have you smiling until the end!

 

Michelle Rose
Event Coordinator

Michelle comes to Xphyr with qualifications in Event Management and a hunger to learn. Already she has proved herself to have great attention to detail, project management and client management skills. Michelle is quickly proving herself to be an indispensible member of the Xphyr team.

 

David Banks
Technical Director

As an accomplished and experienced technical director, David understands how to combine all technical aspects of a show, and ensure they co-ordinate perfectly with the client’s objectives and atmosphere of the occasion. He works closely with the events team throughout the creative process - from conceptualization to tour schedules - ensuring that all production elements are seamlessly integrated and nothing misses the mark! David has worked on all manner of events, concerts and international tours. His career highlights include Technical Manager for the Sydney Superdome, Technical Manager for the Gala Opening of the Olympic Arts Festival event “Symphony for 1000 voices”. He’s worked with some of the world’s top brands and entertainers in a career spanning almost 20 years. His unassuming nature, quick wit and sense of humour means that David gets the most from suppliers and crew.

 

Karen Stonee
Event Stylist

Xphyr styling team. Her skills are second to none and it’s safe to say that no task has proven impossible for her extraordinary talent. Whether it’s a stylish party, a formal dinner a quirky set installation Karen’s skills are always at the ready. She relishes in designing and creating custom centrepieces, and is a whizz with signage and installation – she’s at her happiest up to her knees in hot glue guns, vinyl decals and glitter!

 

Michelle Stanley
Graphic Design

With a passion to think outside the square and work with brands that push boundaries, Michelle’s attention to detail has the ability to blend style and information and bring the most challenging of ideas to life. Whilst working on some of Australia’s biggest brands for the past 10 years, Michelle is dedicated and passionate about her career, and always looking for a new look, a new edge and keeps abreast of current styles and trends. Slick and sexy or simple and clean her creative thinking knows no boundaries. Her positive attitude and always smiling nature means that she will always find a way to make an idea work, even those that sometimes seem impossible!
